BREAKING NEWS: Registration for our SPOOKTACULAR Annual Field of Screams Tournament is open!
Our wildly successful Field of Screams tournament is back again for 2018! The event will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the boo-tiful foothills of the Adirondacks, specifically at Ridge-Jenkinsville Park in Queensbury, New York. It will kick off at 9 am for younger teams and conclude by 4 pm for older teams.
Teams in 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 divisions will show their hair-raising talents (and selected 9/10 teams if there is sufficient interest). The format is 7v7 (6 field plus goalie) for 3/4 and 5/6, and 8v8 (7 field plus goalie) for 7/8. Fees are $125 for 3/4 and $200 for 5/6 and 7/8 to cover officials, field rental, and associated expenses. If program has two or more teams in same division, the fee will be $25 less for each additional team.
The tournament will feature fang-tastic concessions, vendors, a dance party, and games hosted by the Queensbury Varsity Girls Lacrosse program.
Adirondack 40Stixters is a volunteer driven organization, and our success depends on the participation and support of our players and families. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES include Board of Directors positions, tournament operations, and coaching positions. No experience needed for coaching...just enthusiasm and commitment; we will provide instruction and assistance!
