We host lacrosse programs for beginner and advanced lacrosse players in the spring, as well as extended play options for advanced players in the fall and winter. We hope that you will join us!

SPRING 2018 PROGRAMS:
Intro to Lacrosse: This is a fun and games-oriented introduction to lacrosse for 2nd graders for six weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 from 4/24 to 5/31. Players learn basic skills and experience game-like scrimmages. Sticks and goggles can be provided if needed. Players must have a mouthguard. For the session fee, your player receives a t-shirt as well as a one-year membership in US Lacrosse ($50 value), which includes insurance and subscription to US Lacrosse magazine.
Rising Stars: Rising Stars is for 3rd through 6th graders. They will learn skills, participate in drills, and scrimmage. There will be one tournament in Schuylerville on June 2. The program lasts from 4/24 through 5/31 and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30. For the session fee, your player receives a t-shirt and pinnie as well as a one-year membership in US Lacrosse ($50 value), which includes insurance and subscription to US Lacrosse magazine.
Shooting Stars: Shooting Stars is for 3rd through 6th graders who have participated in Shooting Stars previously or who have played at least one year of Rising Stars and who are interested in a competitive travel lacrosse experience. COMMITMENT is required as there will be at least three local tournaments and two regional tournaments two to three hours away. The program lasts from 4/17 through 6/7 and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00. For the session fee, your player receives a uniform as well as a one-year membership in US Lacrosse ($50 value), which includes insurance and subscription to US Lacrosse magazine. Tournament fees are also included.
7th and 8th Grade Shooting Stars: Modified spring session for our Shooting Stars alumna in 7th and 8th grade. Session includes participation in the Saratoga Round Robin on May 12 in Saratoga Springs, NY and the Equinox Shootout in Manchester, Vermont on June 3. The girls are welcome to attend any Shooting Star practice on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 from April 19 through May 31 (not held over April school break), but we would especially like to get the 7th and 8th graders together on Thursday, May 10 and Thursday, May 31. The fee will only be for tournament registration and will be based on the number of players who are interested. We will not be distributing new uniforms this year.
Adirondack 40Stixters is a volunteer driven organization, and our success depends on the participation and support of our players and families. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES include Board of Directors positions, tournament operations, and coaching positions. No experience needed for coaching...just enthusiasm and commitment; we will provide instruction and assistance!
